Diamond Springs, CA — 19 November 2025— Sub Sea Systems, a global leader in underwater entertainment, introduces Snorkel Drift, the world’s first towed snorkel ride system. The revolutionary upgrade to traditional snorkeling, elevates the experience to a themed ride with controlled throughput.

Inspired by the cable wake surf parks pioneered by RIXEN Cableways, Snorkel Drift invites participants to don full face snorkel gear and hold onto a specially designed, winged subaquatic board while being gently towed along a circuitous course. Riders experience the sensation of “flying” through immersive, themed underwater environments.

“Snorkel Drift represents an exciting evolution in snorkeling– an industry that’s not seen much innovation since its inception,” says Jim Mayfield, President & CEO of Sub Sea Systems, Inc. “It delivers a truly immersive and accessible guest experience that offers operators a snorkel adventure with controlled throughput, and the added benefit of an additional revenue stream beyond the gate.”
